Hi, i’m Kim (she/her) and I’m your imperfect Dietitian.
I am a qualified Nutritionist & Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) registered with Dietitians Australia
I have been practising as a Dietitian since 2019 and over the years have worked in many settings, including the public health system, disability sector and aged care. I’ve had the privilege to gain a lot of experience in my short career and have found that my passion lies in working with women, particularly in helping them to improve their relationships with food and themselves.
I have my own lived experience of challenges with dieting, mental health and neurodivergence, and know that finding the right support is key to feeling better. I understand the strength it takes for my clients to trust me and open up about their struggles, and I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space for sharing and collaboration to take place during our sessions.
Working with me will not lead to you being perfect at healthy eating. I do not provide meal plans or give weight loss advice.
Rather, we will focus on:
Identifying your food beliefs and behaviours
Explore your neurodivergent traits and executive functioning challenges
Discuss how these impact what and how you eat
Set realistic goals to support your health and functioning
Find strategies for you to become imperfectly ‘good enough’ with your eating in a way that actually improves your health and makes your body feel safe (hence the name Imperfectly You Nutrition).
